UDPI — Unified Data, Processes & Intelligence (“UDPI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a business-services SaaS platform based in Karnataka, India. UDPI provides software and related services that help organizations manage business data, processes, workflows, reporting, automation, and intelligence.

This Privacy Policy applies to personal data collected, used, stored, or otherwise processed by UDPI through its websites, applications, platforms, products, services, events, communications, and other business activities.

UDPI’s primary data-protection obligations arise under the laws of India, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), applicable rules and regulations, and other applicable Indian laws. Where UDPI provides services to individuals or organizations in other countries, additional privacy laws may apply based on the relevant jurisdiction, including the General Data Protection Regulation and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA”), where applicable.

For personal data submitted to the UDPI platform by a business customer, UDPI may process that data on behalf of the customer. In those circumstances, the customer may determine the purposes and means of processing and may be responsible for responding to requests relating to that data. UDPI processes such information in accordance with the applicable customer agreement, data-processing terms, and applicable law.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to personal data collected from UDPI employees, contractors, or job applicants in their employment-related capacity where separate policies apply.

Your Choices Regarding Consent and Communications: Where required by applicable law, UDPI will obtain consent before collecting or processing personal data for specified purposes. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us or using the available account, communication, or preference-management controls. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

You may also unsubscribe from marketing communications by using the unsubscribe option included in the relevant communication. You may continue to receive essential service, account, security, transactional, or legal communications.

UDPI does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Rights of Individuals in India. Subject to applicable law and relevant conditions, individuals in India may have rights relating to notice, consent, withdrawal of consent, access to information about personal data, correction, erasure, grievance redressal, and nomination. These rights may be subject to legal, contractual, security, and operational limitations.

To submit a privacy request or grievance, please contact UDPI using the details provided in the “Contact Us” section of our Privacy Policy. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. Where personal data is processed on behalf of a customer organization, we may direct your request to that organization.

International Users. If you access or use the Services from outside India, your personal data may be processed in India or in other countries where UDPI, its affiliates, or its service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to process personal data in accordance with applicable law and to maintain appropriate contractual, technical, and organizational safeguards.

Where applicable, individuals located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local privacy laws, including rights of access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Retention of Your Personal Information. Please see the “Retention Of Your Information” section below of our Privacy Policy for more information. UDPI retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with contractual, accounting, tax, legal, security, and dispute-resolution requirements, or otherwise as permitted by applicable law.

California Resident Notice

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (“CCPA”), may provide you with additional rights regarding your personal information.

UDPI does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their personal information, subject to applicable exceptions. They may also have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information where provided by the CCPA and the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising their privacy rights.

We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. If you use the UDPI Services through an organization, we may direct your request to that organization where it controls the relevant personal information.

Shine the Light Disclosure

The California “Shine the Light” law gives residents of California the right, under certain circumstances, to request information from us regarding the manner in which we disclose certain categories of personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes. UDPI does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.
